0 mégot, Une vague d’espoir. This film follows the inspiring story of 4 young french swimmers trying to raise awareness on cigarette butt pollution as they swam the Seine River from Paris to the Atlantic Ocean. For this project we were awarded a grant by Impact 2024, a fund supporting projects harnessing sport to make a social or environmental impact.

In June 2021, the four swimmers took turns day and night, for a week, to cover the 380 km that separate Paris and Deauville. 380 km to retrace the path of a cigarette butt, thrown away on a Parisian pavement, to the mouth of the ocean.

This film has won a Deauville Green Award as well as a prize at the What A Trip Film Festival in Montpellier. The movie is currently being shown in various schools across France and screenings are organized by Surfrider Foundation on the french coast. It has so far been shown to 2500 schoolchildren in more than 20 schools across France.

Our Role: We produced, directed and shot this long documentary over a course of a year.
