Itron is an American technology company that offers products and services on energy and water resource management. Its products are related to smart grid, smart gas and smart water that measure and analyse electricity, gas and water consumption. Through developing technologies to analyse water consumption, Itron are working to empower individuals to better understand their personal water usage, while also equipping utilities companies with the tools to supply water to communities more efficiently.
 
When Hurricane Irma stormed the Turks and Caicos Islands, halving the archipelago’s fresh water supply, there was a race against time to fix the network.
